ABDO has been setting the bar high for providing quality books to schools and libraries across the country and around the world since 1985. Our divisions – Abdo Kids, Pop!, Abdo Zoom, Abdo Publishing, Magic Wagon, Spotlight, and EPIC Press – are each designed to serve readers in Grades PreK-12 in unique ways. These nonfiction and fiction titles are available as library bound hardcover books, and most are also available as eBooks.


Founded in 1949, ABRAMS was the first company in the United States to specialize in publishing art and illustrated books. The company continues to publish critically acclaimed and best-selling works in the areas of art, photography, cooking, craft, comics, interior and garden design, entertainment, fashion, and popular culture; children’s books ranging from middle grade to young adult fiction to picture books to board books.

In 1992, Candlewick Press opened its doors as an independent children’s publisher, and remains an independent publisher today. As part of Walker Books Group, Candlewick Press enjoys a unique ownership structure which includes more than 75 employees in our US office, staff in our UK and AUS offices, plus more than 150 authors and illustrators.

Nomad Press is an educational publisher dedicated to sparking the interest of young readers in the fascinating world around them.
